Biography
Debbie graduated from Birmingham Conservatoire with PG Dip after being awarded a scholarship from the Tillett Trust. She made her oratorio debut with the Hamburg Bach Choir during their tour of England and has performed a wealth of oratorio works across the country. She has been applauded for contemporary music performances in Germany and has impressed audiences across Eastern Europe with ‘Posaune Voce’ chamber trio.
Debbie has taken several operatic roles and toured the UK with MidWales Opera. Leading roles have included, Countess in Mozart’s ‘Marriage of Figaro’ and the title role in Monteverdi’s ‘Coronation of Poppea’ for which a review in Opera magazine deemed her “the eponym of the evening”.
Debbie is a musician on the Live Music Now! scheme, founded by Yehudi Menuhin and performs regularly throughout the UK in a variety of settings from hospitals to special schools. Debbie has recently given recitals at the Devises Festival and the Wetherby Music Festival and has recorded a Cd, ‘Enchant’.
